A friend of Naresh Bhatt testified about a sarcastic Facebook post he saw before Mamta Bhatt disappeared, prompting him and another friend to confront Naresh about his marriage. The witness said Naresh acknowledged marital arguments and described an earlier incident in which Mamta allegedly pulled his blanket before he made a backward hand motion and she fell onto a bed. The friend also testified that he unsuccessfully tried calling Naresh several times on the night of August 4, 2024, before Naresh called him the following morning and confirmed Mamta was not home. When the friend proposed organizing a group search, he said Naresh cited stress and concerns about creating drama, allowing only two friends to visit.
