Man Convicted of Strangling Girlfriend Sentenced to Life

Jason Palmer was sentenced to life in prison, with the possibility of parole after 15 years, for the death of his girlfriend, Rachel Prince. Palmer was convicted of strangling Prince at an apartment in July 2025. Prince, a mother of two and an art teacher, was found dead by Palmer's mother and sister. During the sentencing, Prince's family members spoke about her artistic talents and the loss felt by her children and family.
