Nurse Who Neglected Medically Fragile Child Sentenced

Sharlene Pflugrad, a former in-home care nurse convicted of neglecting a medically fragile child was sentenced to 30 months in prison followed 30 months of probation on Tuesday. Pflugrad, who pleaded no-contest, later tried to take back the plea, telling the judge she felt scared, pressured and would have preferred to take the case to trial. However, the judge ruled that she "knowingly, willingly and voluntarily" entered the plea. Another in-home care nurse who previously cared for the child pleaded guilty to child neglect and was sentenced to one year in jail. #CourtTV - What do YOU think?
