Judge Probes Juror's Secret KKK Knowledge in 5-Year-Old's Murder

Drama emerged in the trial against David Prevatte on Thursday as the judge investigated potential juror misconduct involving a fellow juror's alleged undisclosed information about the defendant's purported ties to the Ku Klux Klan (KKK). During questioning, Juror No. 2 said the juror had made comments including, "I know things about this, but I can't say," and suggested at least two other jurors may have heard similar remarks. Prosecutors raised concerns about whether the juror had failed to disclose relevant information, and the court considered further questioning and whether to remove the juror for cause.
