Several medical staff who treated 7-year-old Ethan Hauschultz testified Tuesday about his condition when he arrived at the ER in April 2018. Critical care paramedic William Manis described Ethan as pale, limp and unresponsive. ER physician Dr. Rebecca Reim testified that Ethan was breathing but completely unresponsive and incredibly cold, with blue extremities. Medical staff began emergency treatment for severe hypothermia, but Ethan went into cardiac arrest multiple times and died hours later. His great-uncle, Timothy Hauschultz, is on trial for his death.
