During Lindsay Clancys trial, forensic scientist Hilary Griffiths testified about toxicology testing performed on Clancys blood and urine samples. Griffiths, who worked with the Massachusetts State Police in 2023, told jurors that testing detected benzodiazepines in Clancys urine, including nordiazepam, oxazepam, temazepam, and lorazepam. Clancy is accused of killing her three young children, Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months, inside their Massachusetts home in January 2023 before attempting to take her own life. Her defense has argued she was suffering from severe postpartum psychosis and bipolar disorder at the time. Clancy has pleaded not guilty.
