On Monday, Dr. Read Quinton, the forensic pathologist who conducted the autopsy on 6-year-old Alexavier Pedrin, testified about his findings. Alexavier died at age 6, and his fathers girlfriend, Josie Dikeman, is on trial in connection with his death. Dr. Quinton described multiple bruises and broken bones, noting that Alexaviers ribs were visible and his eyes appeared sunkensigns consistent with dehydration. He also testified that melatonin and Xanax were present in the childs system at the time of his death. He ruled Alexs death a homicide.
